Tenopex Packaging PET Films

APET/RPET
(R)APET (Amorphous Polyethylene Terephthalate) is an engineered thermoplastic material of the polyester family. Key features of our APET film and sheets are :

  • High impact strength (20% higher than PVC)
  • High optical clarity and gloss
  • Excellent chemical and electrical resistance / moisture barrier
  • Flexible and suitable for deep draw thermoforming
  • Environmentally friendly (recyclable and non toxic)
Typical applications are vacuum forming, display packaging, food packaging, antistatic packaging, clear folded boxes, offset and screen printing.

GAG / GRG
GAG/GRG offers the same benefits of APET, with the addtional features of :
  • Suitable for solvent, RF, or adhesive bonding
  • Printable without surface treatment
  • FDA certified
  • A co-extruded film of GRG, combining surface layers of PETG with APET core helps to reduce cost. 
Typical applications are blisters packaging, pharmaceutical  and medical device packaging, food packaging, displays, transparent lids and trays.

HIPS
