Tenopex offers a co-extrusion of polycarbonate film capped with a thin layer of PMMA. Such composition benefits from anti-scratches & high clarity of the PMMA layer while its benefit of easy processing & fabrication for the main Polycarbonate film profile. As its no shielding of the film, its good alternative to replace glass sheet for display panel application. After surface hard-coating, 3-4H hardness is achievable.

The PMMA layer offers a better resistance to UV degradation compared to polycarbonate alone. The polycarbonate offers superior impact resistance, making the composite sheet more durable than standard PMMA shees. Both PMMA and Polycarbonate are lighter than glass, hence making the composite sheets suitable for applications where weight is a concern.

  • Architectural Glazing : used for building facades, skylights and other architectural elements where both impact resistance and clarity are required.

 

  • Automotive Industry : Used in car windows, interior & touch panel parts

 

  • Office Automation Equipments : Touch Panels and high quality name lens, and membrane panels

  • Interior Panels : Used in interior designs for partitions, ceiling panels, and other decorative applications where light weight and durability are required
